Coin Videos

This is a nice short video that shows the creative and artistic ability of someone who uses 100 years worth of Lincoln Cents to create a portrait of Abraham Lincoln.

According to the video, every year and mint of the Lincoln Cent from 1909 through 2008 is used for the piece of art, with the exception of the rare 1909-S VDB. A majority of the coins utilized are those known commonly as Wheat Pennies from before 1959.

Each coin was hand picked based on its coloration and the encapsulated to protect them.

Time-lapse photography allows the viewer to watch as the portrait is assembled from start to finish. This is just a great video.
